TruMonitor - TruVent: Medical Simulation on iPhone and iPad

TruMonitor - TruVent is an excellent learning tool for doctors, medical students, nurses, and paramedics/EMS. It offers realistic medical simulation training without the need for expensive/high-fidelity mannequins. This program is a perfect revision aid for life support courses, OSCE exam preparation, or ad hoc teaching.

With TruMonitor - TruVent, users can verbally create scenarios as simple or as complex as they wish. If the student has a second device, they can connect via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and the second device becomes a realistic monitor. The teacher can then alter multiple patient parameters as the scenario evolves, including ECG, BP, arterial line, SpO2, resp rate, temperature, fingerprick glucose, capnography, end-tidal CO2, and lab results.

One of the standout features of TruMonitor - TruVent is the ability to change ECG rhythms instantly or via defibrillation/CPR cycle. Users can choose from an extensive list of ECG rhythms, including normal sinus rhythm, VF, VT, asystole, various AV conduction defects, AF, AF with digoxin effect, torsades de pointes, atrial flutter, and many more. Additionally, once intubated, multiple capnography options are available.

Overall, TruMonitor - TruVent is a powerful medical simulation program that provides a realistic training experience for healthcare professionals. Its extensive range of features and scenarios make it a valuable tool for learning, revision, and teaching.
